Nik Stauskas Gets His House Filled With Popcorn

A popular prank among NBA players is to fill a player’s car with popcorn. Sometimes it backfires when you do it to the wrong person, or use buttered popcorn and fill it into a car with a white interior. Or both. But the latest popcorn incident went better than that, thankfully for the Sacramento Kings. Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins, and Reggie Evans had a problem though: How would they pull the “popcorn in the car” prank on Kings rooke Nik Stauskas when he didn’t own a car? Simply, and hilariously, they filled Stauskas’ house up instead.

Assuming the woman laughing in the background at the big reveal lives with Nik, what an understanding person she is to laugh this off. Heck, she might have been part of it. Gay, Cousins and Evans had to get into the house somehow, right? Can’t just depend on a clubbie for that, no?

As for Stauskas, he took it very well … better than Kenyon Martin did. But being a rookie, I guess he had no choice.
