Jerome Bettis Gets His Hall of Fame Bust (And Free Meals)

Ah yes, the spoils of being a Hall of Famer in a major professional sport. The plaque. The bust. The adulation. The speech. And free meals at a chain restaurant, apparently.

Yes … You know it’s Hall of Fame weekend in Canton by the fact that a Bob Evans in Ohio is letting a Pittsburgh Steeler eat for free. No word on why Jerome Bettis gets to eat for free and not Charles Haley and Will Shields. Maybe because large offensive linemen would put Bob Evans out of business.
